The Tampa Bay Sports Commission and the Tampa Police Athletic League partnered with Tamika Catchings Catch the Stars Foundation by hosting one of her #24Forever Legacy Tours, a fun-filled free basketball clinic hosted in underserved and low income communities. Catch the Stars empowers youth (ages 7-18) by providing goal setting programs that promote FITNESS, LITERACY and YOUTH DEVELOPMENT.

Over 50 kids enjoyed a morning of basketball drills and life skills. The University of South Florida Women’s Basketball team and staff volunteered as on-court clinicians and were active role models in helping grow the game. To top it all off, the clinic served as the first stop on the #WFFTampaBay Trophy Tour campaign. All the participants had the opportunity to get their photo with the NCAA Championship trophy and Tamika Catchings, a NCAA & WNBA Champion.
